About Us 

Clayborn Leadership Consulting (CLC) was founded in 2019 on the principles of servant leadership, community building, and continuous improvement. 

In honor of the late Evelena R. Clayborn, a trailblazer and exemplar of community engagement and women in leadership, the organization launched in an effort to continue the legacy of helping others while challenging the status quo. 

In its commitment to excellence, Clayborn Leadership Consulting brings decades of leadership acumen and expertise in mentorship, organizational development, and program management. 

Tiffani Morrow Smith is a dynamic leader with expertise in leadership, mentorship, and non-profit management. She has spent the last decade committed to enhancing the knowledge, capacity, and profile of various non-profits in the mid-south area. Tiffani is known for her energetic personality, subject matter expertise, and passion for social responsibility. A master trainer in the areas of mentoring and youth development, Tiffani has fueled over a thousand hours of best-practice training for hundreds of volunteers and career professionals over the course of her career. 

As a strong believer in the power of transformational leadership, Tiffani has dedicated her career to not only empowering the next generation of leaders but also challenging systems that hinder equitable, diverse, and inclusive professional environments. 

Tiffani Morrow Smith is a native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and is currently residing in Memphis, Tennessee. She spent 12 seasons in various community-focused roles within the NBA before moving into the role of Executive Director for a Memphis-based non-profit. 

Tiffani graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor’s in Exercise & Sport Science and received a Master’s in Sport Management from St. John’s University in New York City. She holds a certificate in Non-profit Management from Christain Brother's University in partnership with Momentum Nonprofit Partners. Tiffani is also currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership & Organizational Management at Carolina University.
